可是实际主语the scientist 是look的施动者，应该是looking啊？

过去分词当然可以作壮语,并且所有的非谓语动词都能作壮语.过去分词作状语如：Scolded by the teacher,the student felt so sad…你给的第一个句子是并列谓语,请注意and这个词的作用

过去分词不能引导状语从句，但是过去分词短语能做伴随状语
这上面这句话里面就是伴随状语

过去分词在句子中可以充当状语或定语或表语。不能引导状语从句。本句子中looked与frowned，said是并列的谓语
