谁能告诉我The first time和for the first time 的区别

The first time
The first time I saw her,I knew something would happen between us.
第一次看到她,我就知道我们会发生点什么
For the first time
I promised her to go to the cinema twice together,and yesterday we did for the first time.
我答应过她一起看两场电影,昨天我们去看了第一场.
2个短语都是第一次的意思,一般来说,The first time 用句首多一点,做状语,修饰后面发生的事.而For the first time用句尾多点,强调是第一次,可能以后还有第2,第3次.
