The "Autocal" procedure is used to null insertion delay differences between the start and stop channels,and to reduce the differential nonlinearity of the analog interpolators.It may be done whenever the instrument is completely warmed up,and should be done once a year or after 1000 operating hours.It is recommended that the EXT,A,and B inputs be disconnected while Autocal is running.
