动词加上ing可表示状态，你那个句子里的standing就表示the girl当时的状态，她站在树下。再给你举个例子：The man （）with my father is a teacher.这里要求使用talk的正确形式填空。答案是talking。这里也是表示状态，那个人在谈话，谈话是是那个人当时处于的状态。记住一个知识点：动词ing+介词短语表修饰，修饰主语。
