Is this the reason that she gave for not finishing her honmework yeterday?为什么用that 不能用why·········刚刚看解释是什么同位语的没懂·········请大神帮忙再解释下······

that she gave 做the reason 的定语从句 that 做gave的宾语,你用why能做宾语吗

改陈述句this is the reason that she gave for not finishing her homework yesterday.
she gave the reason for not fininshing her homework .因为有介词for 所以不能使用关系副词why
定语从句可以翻译成。。。。的，是修饰前面的名词的，而同位语从句是对前面名次...

其实不看语法的话靠句子翻译也是可以明白的。Is this the reason that she gave for not finishing her honmework yeterday? 翻译过来就是，这就是她给的（那个昨天没有作业的）理由吗。
