This paper mainly introduces the music timer design process,the whole process of generalization is divided into the hardware design and software design.The hardware design and the main use of PC ES598PCI STAR in the experiment box programmable timing/counter,programmable 8253 parallel interface chip 8255,8259,programmable interrupt controller of the keyboard / 8279 display Settings,7 digital luminescence tubes,intercom,components,such as the basic control circuit.Software hand-coded code,realize the chip initialization and interrupt,counting,judgment,jump,the control operation cycle.The design and implementation of digital display and keyboard tube time,light buzzer rang the bell and tube twinkle etc.Multiple functions,stable operation,simple control.
