2 retire 是不及物动词,无被动语态
3.C 因为这是让步状语从句,尽管他只是参加课程为了玩儿,（没有上下文,take the course 也不能确定course 是课程还是路线）,他却救了这个人.D 如果是though,就对了,但是thought ,think 的过去式,不正确.
