Here _____(be) my brother and sister.
为什么呢？
我认为按照就近原则应该是is,比如Here's a table and a chair.
但我的老师说是are.

Here is my brother and sister.翻译成：这是我妈，这是我妹。（介绍人时用）就近原则，跟there be一样的。如果句子是这样的，就不同了：My mother and sister are here.就不能用就近原则，翻译成：我母亲和妹妹都在这儿。
