原句it不对.句尾as beatiful是很常见的固定用法.为了简洁as 之后的部分省去（因为与什么比较已经非常清楚）

应该为The library is [older than the courthouse but still just as beautiful as it ].
as...as是‘和/与.....一样’，后边必须要有同级比较的对象，而it 代之前边出现的the courthouse，即是指 The library的同级比较对象。看好问题啊....我就说为什么没有后面的了。这个已经是正确答...

改为 older than the courthouse but as beautiful as it
首先先说指代对象the courthouse 再说it
其次but链接两个完整的句子 这里面最好不要省略我说的就是内种直接给句子的答案选项...正确答案就是这个....我跟你想法一样..我是问的为什么这样对..那就是把最后的it 省略 也不是不可以 as ...
