A trip to the zoo
The zoo is a good place for everyone; animals and people visiting them.The animals can live there comfortably and they can be protected by humans; as a result they won’t be endangered by other species or the disruption of their natural habitat.Also it is good for humans to visit the animals and learn more about them.They can learn about how to protect animals and their natural habitat to avoid destructing their natural home.
The first time when I went to the zoo was when I was five years old.It was a sunny day in the freezing season of winter.Mum suggested us to go to the zoo for a visit as a way for me to explore the world of animals with the knowledge of their habitat and their life of living.It was one of the first times that I had during my life; it was exciting because it was my first time getting so close to animals that can nearly touch them!Then I told myself,trying new things feels great!
So there we were,standing in front of the entrance of.Its gate had a shape with its own way of style; the style of nature by the curly shaped trees can make.After we went inside,a huge gray elephant appeared in my eyesight.Its size was amazing for me because it was my first time actually seeing an elephant.I was shocked by its size and stared at it.At the beginning,I thought it was a giant gray monster!But I didn’t scream because it looked kind and was carrying people around the zoo.
Then we went to the monkey mountain and saw several hazel colored monkeys; some were hanging on trees and some were sitting on the large sloppy rocky mountain.One larger grey colored monkey suddenly jumped onto the rocky mountain and howled like a lion to all the other monkeys sitting on the rocky mountain which made them all crawled away.Then the larger one stood on top of the rocky mountain and patted its breast,showing everyone that he is the king.
During the great time in the zoo we saw several other great animals such as the cleaver dolphins,the Shelly turtles and even the tower-like giraffes!Time went on as the sun was going to set.I didn’t want to go but the zoo was at its closing time for the day.We left from the zoo when it was getting dark.It was really a fun trip and I still remembered it until today.
When I was young,I thought the animals were good living in zoos so I can see them everyday; but then I learnt that the animals slowly lose their natural habitat while they stay there,as a result they will just be an animal doing same things in a daily basis without knowing what they suppose to know as the specie of that animal.Also,I learnt that most animals that had been brought to the zoo were endangered species or animals which got injured or hurt by human.
Until now,the population of animals is decreasing and maybe one day,there won’t be any animals left in the world.Therefore,starting from now,people should protect the environment in order not to lose those beautiful l species of animals!Would you want to lose your loving pet animal from pollution and the destruction of environment?
