In nowadays,many college undergraduates choose to pursuit master degrees after graduation.Having a master degree is eventually becoming a "given" for candidates of employees.A master degree usually will also lead to higher salary in the job.
The reasons that many students try to obtain a master degree have two sides.In positive way,many students try to learn more in their professional fields and make themselves more competitive in career fairs.On the other hand,some student decide to go to graduate school merely because they are unable to find a job after graduation.
To my perspective,master degree is not that important,since students can not learn all they need in school.They should learn from the real life.Therefore,finding a intern or doing business,can be a better options rather than pursuing master degree,if the master is not absolutely necessary.Nevertheless,it also depends on the situation.Some pure scholar fields require students get master even doctor degree to start work.
