Marketing is an art or science?why?

Both of them,in my opnion.Firstly,we should regard it as a kind of social action,'cause we contact & communicate with target customers,of course it needs related skills and experience,so we call it an art.And marketing is also suggested to be attractive and eye-catching,ads then be made,propagenda then be used,that's why I call it a science,we demands various method.
