The man running over there is our chairman.= The man who is running over there is our chairman.前面一句的谓语是 后面一句的定语从句是不是只有“ who is running ”这一部分,剩下的都是主句?我是个菜鸟,烦劳大家分析的具体一点谢谢!
对了 over there为什么不是状语呢？

第一句主语是The man,谓语是is,chairman在这里做宾语（也就是表语,跟宾语差不多的一种成分）,running over there是动词+ing做后置定语（这里因为是run所以双写n）
后一句主语是The man,谓语是is,chairman在这里还是做宾语,who is running over there是定语从句,修饰the man

状语是修饰谓语动词的，现在要修饰的是the man 所以是定语啊，你不要把over there和running分开来看啊 英语就是这样的，有时候让人搞不明白~

句子的主干成分是The man is our chairman.
所以前一句的谓语就是is.
后一句从句部分是 "who is running over there"
