A.表语从句.你可以设想一个简单句.比如：书在桌子上：the book is on the desk.需要有介词-on,而where这个关系副词就可以相当于一个介词再加上地点.C,D意义上也翻译不过去,只有B项可以语法上过的去,翻译成它已经不是过去的那本书了.但是与第一句,不够成逻辑关系,所以应该选择A项.
