such as...是同位语,说明drawbacks
it指的是distance learning

可是the same。。。as。。。前后不是应该要平衡吗？为什么这里的traditional college education后边什么东西都没有？

这个是省略了的。 as the traditional education (is able to achieve the learning outcomes). I have the same book as you. =I have the same book as you (have the book).
