lots of等于a lot of,
并且只能用于肯定句中；lots of既可修饰可数名词复数,也可修饰不可数名词.例如：
There are lots of trees on the hill.山上有许多树.
We have lots of vegetables every day.我们每天都吃许多蔬菜.
a lot“许多”,在句中作状语.如：
We learned a lot on the farm.在农场我们学到了许多（东西）.
