another,other,others,the other有什么意义与区别,我知道,“另一个蛋糕”用another,那么“我能不能再吃一块蛋糕”翻译用another还是again呢?另外,请说说another和again的区别
我能不能再吃一块蛋糕 Could I have another cake?能不能说成Could I have cake again?

ok ,你要记住AGAIN 是副词修饰动词或形容词，ANOTHER修饰的只能是名词，再这句话里，也可以用AGAIN 但不好，两者强调的对象不同，

another & the other 都是加单数名词，但是another是3者或以上中的“另一个”，而the other是2者中的“另一个”，通常用于词组“one……the other”。other 加复数名词，，而others相当一个名词的作用。
