After Pan Gu creates the world by slicing open the darkness,there aren't human beings around.It is Nu who creates the human kind.As she creates people one by one,she realizes that it is too much of a work and she can easily get tired.Thus,she thought of a quick way to make more people.She places a rope in to the mud and then pull it out.Then the mud spots become little people.This is how Nu creates people.
