first 接后的名词 （比如 one）一般可以省略,比如

句子相等于

还有一个就是i believed that perfect makes… 这里不是有个宾语从句吗？从句里的主语需不需要用非谓语动词形式

是个完成句子，that后面一条横线，上面填熟能生巧好像是，

熟能生巧 的英语是 practice makes perfect 这是成语 完整的句子是 I believe that practice makes perfect. practice 放前，perfect 放后。

这是成语(idiomatic expressions) ，成语很常源自民间俗语，不一定要遵守语法。 比如 come hell or high water raining cats and dogs eat your heart out 等等。 看似语法有错，但人家是这样说的，这和汉语成语有时与逻辑/语法相违没两样。
