in the beginning和at the beginning的区别
刚才我已经在知道里查看了有关的几个问题的回答,都说“at the beginning”一定要和of连用,其实不然,因为课本里有at the beginning单独使用的例子.我希望有人能给我详细的举例辨析一下in/at the beginning的区别
我已经看到过at the beginning单独作为句子开头的例子了。(即不加介词作为句子的时间状语)

"in the beginning" "起初"; "在开始的时候"
1、with reference to the origin or beginning
= primitively; originally
2、before now
eg."Why didn't you tell me in the first place?"
= in the first place; earlier; to begin with; originally
"at" the beginning "在起点处"; "在开端处"
1、to indicate the *place* where something begins or is begun.
eg.at the beginning of the road
2、to indicate the *first part*of something.
eg.The front matter is at the beginning of the book.

at the begining表示在。。刚开始之时,we are just at the begining of our life
in the begining (开始时)要单独使用 , in the beginning of this year

"开始的时候"
意思一样,但后者有介词,必须加宾语,前者可以单独做状语.
