我想说,这里用leading 而不是lead是因为with后面加动名词的原因吗?还是其他什么原因?还是什么ing表主动 ed表被动啊啥的说明白点

这是with独立主格结构.with + 名词（代词）+ 分词或其他,这里 an old man 和 lead是主动关系,所以用ing形式.如果是被动的情况就用 -ed ,如 With the matter settled, we all went home.
