什么是对角线法则？为什么书上这么说：when we consider the trends in the periodic table, they generally change from the lower left corner to upper right corner. 对于电负性是 the incrasing trend from from the lower left corner to upper right corner？而且电离能电子亲和势电负性原子半径都符合这一法则？

不知道你为啥要用英语学习无机化学，不过这倒是挺好的，毕竟文献绝大多数都收英文的
对角线法则就是左上角和右下角的元素的化学性质相似，包括了你所说的电离能，电负性等等。不过，这仅仅是相似而已
