老师这句话里面的making可以换成make吗?

By that I mean an ability to have a clear sense of what is important in our lives ( the welfare of our families, the quality of our relationships, making other people happy, etc.)
Making other people happy这是一个名词性短语,与前面the welfare、the quality并列.
把make变成making是为了和前面的短语保持一致
单独使用的时候 如果直接说make other people happy 就是祈使句
