(一)感觉
一个人的感觉决定了个体看待事物的结果的不同.感觉是为了获得结果对输入的信息进行识别,分析和选择的过程.人们通过感官,去看、听、闻、尝和摸等接受外在信息并输入信息,最后会形成大量的对外界事物的信息集合,这些就是我们通过各种感官获得的.我们听到一个广告,看到一个朋友,闻到污染的空气和水,摸到一种产品的时候,我们获得了信息.虽然我们立即获得了大量的零碎的信息,但只有一部分成为知觉,成为在头脑中比较深刻的印象,在做个体决策的时候对行为产生影响.我们选择一些信息同时放弃其它大量的信息,这是因为我们无法在同一时间里去注意所有的信息.这种现象有时候我们称为选择保留.假如所选取的信息与期望的事物联系在一起,则被人所知觉.假如这些信息能满足个体眼前的需要,人们也可能让这些信息上升为意识,成为个体心理因素中比较稳定的状态.例如人饿的时候,便可能去注意各类食品.相反,假如刚吃过了饭,这种广告不被意识到的可能性更大.最后,假信息输入的强度急剧变化,意识的可能性越大.一个商店的处理降价幅度较小时,也许未加以注意.这是因为其变化太小,但是如果商店降价一半,我们注意到这种削价的可能性就大得多.
