other warm clothes 其它的保暖衣服

other和the other 的区别是：other泛指；the other 特指
--------------
句意是：
她通常穿一件运动衫或其它保暖的衣服...
那么何时用the other?
常用在some are.,some are...,and the other people are...（一些人干嘛,一些人干嘛,剩下的干嘛）

other 可以做形容词，表示其他的，比如other people其他的人。
也可以做代词，但是做代词时一般不以原形出现，一般用以"the other"或者以复数形式“others”出现。
others
和some对比使用时, 是“有些”...
