没有用错.关键是much修饰形容词（含比较级）.very/so 则是用来加强much的语气.请看例子：
He was (very)much fatter than before.
You have grown (so/very) much taller!
区别的只是语气.
你可能是混淆了,是very不能接比较级.（very）much 是可以的.“I am very much glad to answer your question.And I will be so much happier if you get what I mean.”
