1) thanks to为介词词组，意思是“多亏；由于；因为（含义相当于because of）”。如：
Thank to your help, we finished the work in time. 由于你的帮助，我们及时完成了工作。
2) thanks for. 表示“因……而感谢”，其中的thanks...

意义上的问题
thanks for sth/doing sth=因……而表达谢意，for表示原因及对应关系
thangks to=幸亏，好在有，是个固定词组
本句的意思是：要不是你帮忙，我还不能及时搞定呢
或者：幸亏你来帮忙，不然的话我无法及时把活儿干完
