这题到底是选单数还是复数?语法教程的答案书上说takes/his 或take/their都可以并且是Informal的用法我非常不理解.我认为第一个应该是takes.

在这儿who指的是editors,所以后面的词要用take和their.如果说the only one of the editors,那么who指的是the only one,后面的词就要用单数了.

相信我 一定是take 因为who 引导的定语从句是修饰editors 因是复数所以谓语用take

take theirs 这个who的先行词为editors,而选takes his 则先行词为Wells. 要看你所要的先行词是哪个，不同的选择有不同的意思
