一篇作文The Huangpu River

Today I want to talk about the dead pigs which appeared in the Huangpu River. In the last month, a large number of dead pigs floated into the upstream of Huangpu River all of a sudden, and so far the number of pigs has reached 13,000, which caused widespread attention from the public. People in Shanghai are very worried about the quality of meat, the environment and the source of water. Something behind the public event deserve our reflection and exploration. First, authorities and consumers should ensure that meat from sick pigs or pigs found dead are not processed or used for human food under any circumstances. Second, placing the greatest emphasis on environmental protection is necessary. We each should develop a sense of personal and social responsibility and be concerned about our rivers. All steps aiming at providing every citizen with access to high-quality life deserve our efforts. Lastly, we can easily find a basic disconnect about the market regulations. The authorities still haven’t found why these pigs died. As a common people, I wouldn’t like to find who is to blame for this event, but just want to appeal to everyone that we should or must be on the same page to care for our environment. That is all.
