"After _____________ the old man",充当的成分是状语,
则exam只能做非谓语,而examining代表主动或一般现在时,examined代表被动或一般过去时,
整个句子的主语是“the doctor ”,而这个句子的意思是“在帮老人做完身体检查后,医生认为他患了重感冒”
从整个句意来理解,就是exam是主动的,所以选择examing
如果还不是很理解的话,就记住“after”是个介词,因此跟后的动词要加ing,就这样简单
