Ikea's advantage in marketing
1 Ikea let customers understand their individual needs through experiencing consumption. Ikea's consumption experience lies in the following five sections, which is respectively: "participation ", "experiencing" "design", "personalization " and "transportation". Through this experience Ikea let customers have a fully understanding of ikea's products so that consumers can make better choices.
2 Based on the supply chain, Ikea has its own trade-offs. Seen from the supply chain perspective, Ikea has its own product design, production, delivery, sales and after-sales service. Ikea doesn't adopt the management mode of " integration of production, processing and sales" , instead, it focus on product design and sales,which are the most profitable sections. In the meantime, the product service is integrated into every section, yet other sections are subcontracted to other manufacturers.
