对名词提问需要什么疑问词

人做主语,对人提问,用who
例：The boy is our teacher's son.
The boy是主语,提问： Who is your teacher's son?
人做宾语,对人提问,用whom
例：I gave my book to my sister.
my sister 是介词to的介词宾语,提问：Whom did you give your book to?
再例：I called Tom.
Tom 是call的动词宾语,提问：Whom did you call?
物做主语或宾语,对物提问,都用what,意思是：什么
例：The book is the present from my brother.
The book是主语,提问：What is the present from your brother?
再例：I bought a bag.
a bag是动词buy的宾语,提问：What did you buy?
当有前后文,给出范围,表示选择的时候,提问用which,意思为 哪一个?
例：There are two boys in the room. Which is your son?
再例： I have both tee and coffee. Which do you prefer?
比较需要注意的：
问人的职业,用what
My father is a doctor. What is your father?
