1.去掉第一个is
The old woman smiling to us is my grandma.
2.去掉前面的although,或是去掉后面的but,英语中“虽然,但是”只能择其一
3.在这句话前加that,that引导的是一个主语从句.这句话的意思是“彼特考试得了个A,真是出乎意料.”
4.在逗号后面加while,表示转折.
5.在He后面加上is ,be interested in 是一个固定词组,意为“有兴趣”.这句话的意思是“他总是对别人的事情很感兴趣.”
