When the video is shown,you need to look out for the costumes worn in China and United States.Then I will at random choose a queue (row =一排?) where each student is required to point out at least a custom 风俗.

楼上ztlthb的翻译亦不错, 很地道.但有点长... 更正: When the video is shown, you need to observe the respective customs in China and United States.Then I will randomly choose a row (or: team) where each student is required to point out (or: name) at least a custom seen (in the video). 各自的习俗: respective customs; 习俗差异=diverse customs; custom/customs=同义词: tradition/traditions; practice/practices...
