I know it isn"t easy to English ,but I have some ideas that may help . you said you couldn"t understand peopie who talked fast .well,you can try to listen for the most important words ,not every word .In this way ,you can understend better .you can also do more listening .listen to the tapes and follow it.try to speak English aloud and also do afraid of making mistake. gradually you will be a good English learner.
