Before constraction of a building , the work of relating geological survey and stability evaluation would be conducted to provide a good guarantee such as safety of construction and safety in use. In this paper, Huarun Weishan Lake power plant construction site stability analysis was done with both of survey data and historical earthquake data. The evaluation of construction site suitability was made. The corrective action on related geological issues which unsuitable for the construction was proposed as well.
From the view of techonics, the project site is located in the southeast of North China platform, in the transition zone of Luxi fault block zone and Xuhuai faulted block zone, but near the side of Luxi fault block area. First of all, site location, geological structure and seismic activity were analyzed, and then eluvated the stability of blocks. In addition, with on site seismic effect, its seismic performance and other adverse geological phenomenon analysis, provided the construction suitability evaluation and proposal at final.
