Woman:it's a question several listeners have asked us,so we turned to a human resources consultant for answers.
Man:Shall we arm strong when it comes to the company that helps people find jobs.She says the first step is to draft a short resume no more than two pages.
Consultant:It should be customized to the company or the position you are going for.By that I mean it should use the lingo of the industry.It should be clear and targeted,easy to read on good bound paper,and it should be perfect.There should be no spelling mistake,no grammar mistakes.So you should use spell check and then have 2 or 3 friends at minimum review it before u send it out.
Women:You said customize.How do u know that language?the language of the company.
Consultant:If it isn't your industry,u can talk to the people u do information on interview.U read their reports.U get every your hands on everything you can't give any type of information.they will lead you to a good cover letter in resume.
Woman:How do you structure a resume.What sections are necessary in a resume?
Consultant:I think the first thing I am seeing a lot of good resumes is the very first area that you would have caught qualification summary.Were u identify 3 or 4 important skills that you have that would be appealing to the new employer.
Man:give me some examples.
