burst into laughter/tears

tear 在英语里是可数名词,可以用 a tear,a single drop of tear.laughter 也可数,a laughter,many laughters.
但这里你要看动词,burst,一次性大量涌出的意思.所以不管是一个人还是多个人哭,都要用tears,除非这些人一共哭出一滴眼泪（不太现实吧）.
laughter,可以是一个人也可是多个人,只要是大家一起笑的,用单数；但要是有多于一次的笑声,用复数.
例：
He burst（ed） into laughter over the scene.
他看到那个场面开怀大笑.
He burst（ed） into laughters over the scene.
他多次对那个场面发笑.
They burst(ed) into laughter seeing him fall down the stairs.
大家看到他摔下楼梯哄堂大笑.
They burst(ed) into laughters seeing him fall down the stairs.
大家多次哄堂大笑看到他摔下楼梯.
为什么laughter不加s,就是因为它和前面的动词相悖,如果是一次性大量涌出,笑声肯定是一致的,所以单数,除非大家分开一起笑的.
如果想用laughters,可以用series of laughters.
She burst(ed)into a series of laughters watching Friends.
她看老友记的时候笑声不断.
