在指代可数名词单数时,我们认为that=the one; 指代可数名词复数时those=the ones
但是当我们指代不可数名词时,就只能用that,而不可以使用the one来代替.
此句中ENGLISH是不可数名词,因此只能用that.
再例如:
The weather in Guangzhou is hotter than _____ in Beijing now.(that)
The students in Class two work harder than _____ in Class three.(those)
