两题都选A.因为 无论是one third of the buildings 还是two-thirds of the buildings,主语都是复数,故动词选need. 但是如果of 后面是不可数名词,只能用单数谓语动词

都是选A，没有什么区别。（这个地区的楼肯定比3栋要多的吧，多于1就是复数了）比如这个地区有27栋楼，那三分之二就是18栋，三分之一就是9栋，都是复数概念的。如果of后面是不可数名词或是单数名词的话，谓语就要用第三人称单数形式了

都选A。building是可数名词，加了s 就肯定是多个了，实际上一个地区的建筑物至少有3个，一般是3个以上，这样的话，无论是三分之一还是三分之二，建筑物的个数都是多个，所以动词用复数形式，need不用加s；如果of后面是不可数名词，动词就要用单数形式了，need要加s。另外
sth need doing=sth need to be done。。。...
sth need doing=sth need to be done。。。...
