1.1 rubbing test
1.1.1 for printing on metal and chroming plate part surface.
(1) rubbing printing mark again by hand for 15s with a piece of cloth soaked with water.
(2) Rubbing the printing mark again by hand for 15s with a piece of cloth soaked ith petroleum spirit.
1.1.2 for printing on plastic part and painting part surface
(1) Close the standard weight with cloth,soak the alcohol sufficiently.
(2) Rubbing the printing mark 30 cycles,1 cycle is about 1 second.
1.2 tape test
Take another sample and cover the surface of the printing well and tightly with Scotch Tape 810 and then pull the tape away quickly at 30 degrees angle to attempt to chip or peel away the coating from the printing.
2 Accept standard
After rubbing test the marking shall be clearly legible,it shall not be easily possible to remove marking plates and they show no curling.After Tape test the printing shall not peel off,check the tape and surface of part.
3 Scope
This test cover normal printing on except MEW/Braun product.
