How far is it from here?
需要详细解释吗.
就是How开头的特殊疑问句,不是要求你“直接引语变为间接引语”什么的没有关系.就用特殊疑问句的句式就是了.
例如你会说How is everything?（情况怎么样了?）而你不会问How everything is. 道理一样.
例如,特殊疑问句 What are you talking about?
直接引语变为间接引语 I don't know what you are talking about.
这两个不是一类句式.

应该是How far is it from here.?因为这是一个特殊疑问句，语序是疑问词加一般疑问句的语序，若此句作为从句出现在句子中，则应该写成How far it is from here
