因为“我”是被感动了呀!
当我听到那位英雄的报告时,我情不自禁地被他的事迹所感动了.

当然不行； “被感动”，只能用 be moved；注意比较 I was moved by his report = 我被他的报告感动了（被动)； His report moved me = 他的报告使我很感动（主动）。

因为是别人感动我，那么我就是被感动，当然要用被动态了。couldn't not help doing 是一个固定短语，意思禁不住做某事。

这里的moved是形容词，adj. 感动的，不是过去式，move加-d词性改变了。英文里有很多类似的现象，比如touch加上-ed以后就成了形容词adj. 受感动的；精神失常的
