把stopped talking 改为 stopped to talk
原因是 stop talking,就是表示 "谈话结束,停止谈话“
stop to talk 表示“停下原先在做的事,开始聊天”

stop doing是停止做某事，stop to do是停下来做另一件事 这话应该是在街上遇见一朋友，然后停下来和他说话。所以应该是stop to talk to him。 不知道讲明白没，没的话你再追问吧

stopped talking 错了，应改为 stopped to talk；
stopped talking = 停止和他讲话，也就是不和他讲话了，显然不合题意；
stopped to talk = 停下来和他讲话；
I met an old friend in the street and stopped to talk to him = 我昨天在马路...
