where作关系代词,在从句中代替的是介词短语
eg：I live in the house where my parents live .（代替in the house）
which作关系代词,在从句中代替主语或者宾语的成分
eg：I live in the house which my parents live in.(代替house)

定语从句中，指物时，which和that一般没什么区别。
有些情况下，只宜用that,而不宜用which
