1 用making 或者makes都不对,因为这是个简单句不能有并列谓语,前面已经有is 做谓语了 make就得使用非谓语动词形式,使用动词不定式作补足语 应该使用to make
2 另外此句单复数已经决定了 前面is就是单数,there be句型单复数是由 there be后面的主语决定的,nothing是这里的主语,所以用单数.

应该是making
这句话的主句是there's nothing 后面的exciting和making me excited都是对nothing的修饰。
making me excited是一个定语，事情让我兴奋，nothing与make之间是主动关系所以用现在分词也就是非谓语making
