I was not afraid of （ ）by the police because there was obviously no （ ） policeman anywhere around .
为何第一个括号里是catching而不是caught呢?不是被动语态么?
第二个括号里为什么要填a,不填不行么?
根本就没有being caught 这个选择。

应该是 I am not afraid of being caught by the police because there was obviously no any policyman anywere around.
