As an art form,advertising design is attracting more and more art lovers.But can they really enjoy creating arts works as advertising designers?What dilemma do they have?
Advertising designers combine creativity with sound business sense to market a product based on financial,sociological,and psychological research.To ensure this complicated process works smoothly,they have to spend lots of their time in brainstorming,creative blockbusting,and sifting through demographic research.Plus,they have to make allowances for clients’ opinions.
Lee Clow,Chairman and Chief Creative Director,ChiatDay Advertising points out:” I think creative people are an interesting combo of ego and insecurity.The ego part is wanting to be great,and the insecurity part is not believing you're good,so you keep working your ass off.Those two things pushed me all the time.” When the clients are not satisfied about their ideas,they have to struggle with themselves to give up their own styles and sumit to business.
You can not eat your cake and have it.So advertising designers hold dedicatory attitude towards their job.Where there is an advertisement,there is an advertising designer.Therefore,they are always with us,help us and serve us.
