书、通知你可以写 I read that...from (books...)
信的时候,你可以说John wrote me that...
电视里,你可以说 Smith said that...
对于mention,一般来说只是提到,没有做重点,你也可以对于信或者电视里的句子运用.John mentioned that...in some TV show/ in the letter.
