e going,be doing 是非常口语化（尤见于美语口语）表现在或将来的表达方式.
如：
He's getting a phone installed tomorrow.
他明天要装电话.
They are selling their house to move to a smaller one.
他们正打算卖掉房子,然后搬到一个小一点的住处.

那请问能不能改为"I've gotten a lot of complaints."呢

如果一定要体现时态，也可以的，I (have) got a lot of complaints 就好，got也是get的过去分词
